Sarah works with our service team providing insight and direction for the moving parts of our service department, ensuring organizational efficiency, customer service superiority, and reinforcing a company philosophy of not accepting the status quo. Her involvement in a wide range of roles at 44North started in 2007 writing plan documents for our TPA and gaining knowledge at many levels of the agency as a Customer Service Representative, Underwriter, and Marketing Coordinator. Drawing from this experience allows her to support the team in continuous improvement and expansion of our service offerings.
Sarah lives with her family in the Cadillac area. She enjoys volunteering as a Sunday school teacher of 3-4 year olds at her church. She likes to travel, especially to areas with a rich historical past, but loves the peace and small town feel of her home in Northern Michigan where she occasionally craves the benefits of larger city life when she has an overwhelming urge to find the next “perfect” pair of shoes.
In the People Operations role at 44North, Sharease assists 44North team members with a variety of human resource functions such as employee benefits, managing, recruiting and hiring employees, and continuing education. Sharease loves being part of a growth oriented company and enjoys searching for candidates that would fit the fast-paced environment here at 44North. Most of all, she loves seeing employees achieve their personal and professional goals. She is leader of 44North’s social committee and has implemented the Spark Leadership program.
In the summer Sharease prides herself on her outdoor grilling skills. It is her favorite past time. Sharease says her family is her life! She has two beautiful daughters with her husband (they’ve been married for a quarter of a century). Together as a family they enjoy camping, fishing, raising chickens and snow days out at Caberfae.
Melissa is the project coordinator for 44North. In addition to making sure the projects run on time and are completed within the guidelines, Melissa is responsible for creating efficiencies and identifying areas that need improvement. Melissa tries to ensure that everyone at 44North has the tools they need to complete their jobs in the most efficient way.
Melissa has an amazing husband, 3 beautiful boys, and 2 dogs. Free time is scarce in Melissa’s household as trying to keep up with 3 boys is quite the task. When that free time finally arrives, she enjoys fishing, gardening, or experimenting with cooking.
