Meet our Member Services Team:
Chris has been an instrumental part of the team since September 2003. She is licensed by the State of Michigan for Health, Life and Accident Insurance and is also a Chartered Benefit Consultant. Chris manages the TPA Department that started with just 1 1/2 people to more than 20 employees today and still growing. She thrives on keeping our clients compliant while helping them save premium and tax dollars using creative plan designs including HRAs, HSAs and Flexible Spending Accounts.
Chris relocated her family from Southeast Michigan to Tustin, Michigan in July of 2000 and never wants to move back to the City. Most of the time you will find Chris sitting at her desk, but when she isn’t, she enjoys reading mysteries, camping, scuba diving (in tropical locations) and spending time with her granddaughter. She is also looking forward to her daughter graduating from Michigan State University.
TPA PLAN SETUP PROCESSOR
Angie is helping with the programing of our clients’ plans into the software we use to track claims. She makes sure that the claims coming in calculate correctly for our Claims Analysts who provide support for the needs of our clients. She has over five years of experience as a Claims Analyst and is licensed for accident, health and life under the State of Michigan’s Department of Insurance and Financial Services (DIFS).
Angie lives in the Manton area where she has grown up. She enjoys spending time with her son along with that rest of her family. She likes to travel to new places and see new things. When relaxing, Angie likes to read and she enjoys working in her garden. She likes hiking through nature and has enjoyed some time in the Smokey Mountains this past summer.
TPA Plan Setup Processor
Cindy programs our clients’ plans into the software we use to track claims. She makes sure that the claims that come in will calculate correctly for our Claims Analysts who provide support the needs of our clients. Cindy supports our TPA Manager with other tasks as needed and is a very important part of our team. She has 3 years as a Claims Analyst and is licensed for accident, health and life under the State of Michigan’s Department of Insurance and Financial Services (DIFS).
Cindy lives in the Cadillac area where she enjoys spending time with her daughter. When it is summer she likes to be close to our beautiful local rivers and in the winter she enjoys getting out to snowshoe. In Cindy’s spare time she likes to hit the gym with a workout or escape to a rock concert. Cindy strives to keep an active lifestyle and is a top finisher in our wellness program provided by our employer.
TPA Check Processor
Kristine joined 44North’s team in February of 2017. Kristine supports the whole company in her department, making sure processed claims ready for payment are sent out in a timely manner. What she enjoys the most is seeing a complicated issue get resolved and that her staff or client can rest assured that they were well taken care of.
Kristine lives in Leroy, Michigan with her husband, Matt, and two daughters, Aaliyah and Sophia. Kristine and her family have 6 horses and 5 dogs. She spends most weekends in the summer camping and barrel racing with Matt and the girls. Kristine’s favorite time of year is the fall, when the leaves change and she can sit by a campfire with her family.
Service Administrative Assistant
LeeAnna Mozden joined the 44North Team on August 23, 2016. As a Service Administrative Assistant at 44North, LeeAnna is responsible for many tasks. Her primary responsibility is to ensure all of our client’s FSA contributions are processed correctly. While the FSA contributions takes up most of her time, she assists with the TPA Check Processing when additional help is needed, runs the mail machine, processes and distributes incoming mail as well as helps out with any other tasks her team may need her to handle.
When LeeAnna is not working she likes to spend time with her 5 children and 3 grandsons. The enjoy family dinners on Sunday’s whenever possible. She also enjoys creating art and painting on large canvas. If LeeAnna could go anywhere all expenses paid, she would travel around Ireland exploring the hundreds of castles. What a dream come true for her that would be!
Carrier Direct Feed Processor
Cheri works directly with our TPA department, making sure that our Claims Analysts in our Call Center receive the information they need to review our clients’ claims for correct processing. She is licensed in life, accident and health insurance. Cheri has been with the company for 6 years and continues to be a supportive team member helping train our Claims Analysts in different aspects of claims processing. She runs daily reports for the Claims Analysts for expedient and efficient processing for our clients. In addition to this, Cheri keeps our provider database up to date verifying correct contact information for billing.
Cadillac, Michigan is where Cheri calls home. She grew up in the area and has currently lived here for 6 years. In her spare time, Cheri likes to spend time with her husband, Ronnie, traveling to see her grandbabies and family. She also likes to read, watch movies, travel, and explore the Michigan wine country. If she had an all-expense paid trip, she and her husband would go where it is warm with sand beaches and wine, which means she’s going to Italy!
Ruth is a refund processor for 44North. She is responsible for a smooth transition of refund checks from beginning to end. Ruth mainly works with our claims analysts processing refund checks from the providers and communicating progress with the analysts through the various stages. She ensures a quick turnaround for the refunds coming in from various providers, making sure they get back to our clients, saving them money.
Ruth is new to Cadillac, she is originally from Eastern Pennsylvania, but has also lived in Missouri and Oregon. She moved here with her husband, Mark, and son, Peter, as well as their 2 Border Collies, Remy and Daisy. Ruth loves being with her family, summers, camping and road trips, especially going back to PA to visit her large family with lots of sisters, nieces and nephews. She enjoys seeing our beautiful country and excited to see more of Michigan.
